Get to know me beyond the game.

Meet Casyn

Volleyball has become one of the biggest parts of my life, but it wasn’t always that way. I started playing CYO volleyball when I was eight years old after my mom signed me up, hoping I’d fall in love with the sport the same way she did. Since she was also my coach, she expected a lot from me, and I’ll admit—I wasn’t the biggest fan at first! Looking back, I’m grateful she challenged me because those early experiences helped me develop a love for the game and taught me the value of hard work, perseverance, and always giving my best.

Today, I love the competition, the friendships I’ve built, and the opportunity to challenge myself every time I step on the court. Whether it’s pushing through a tough practice, competing in a close match, or celebrating with my teammates after a win, volleyball has taught me lessons that extend far beyond the game. It has helped shape me into a more confident leader, teammate, and person.

Off the court, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, cooking and baking, listening to music, and dancing whenever I get the chance. I’m competitive by nature, but I also enjoy making people laugh and bringing positive energy to the people around me. One thing that often surprises people is just how competitive I am. I love setting goals, challenging myself, and finding ways to improve every day.

My faith is an important part of who I am. Spending time in God’s Word helps keep me grounded, reminds me to trust His plan, and encourages me to approach every opportunity with gratitude and purpose.

As I continue my recruiting journey, I’m looking for a college program where I can compete at a high level, continue growing as both a player and a person, and make a positive impact on my teammates and the campus community. I’m excited for the opportunities ahead and can’t wait to see where this journey takes me.
